Letter Book

I am working on a book idea that shows kids how to draw characters using each letter of the alphabet … This particular character is based on the uppercase letter “R”.  I am thinking of calling the book “AlphaPETS” or “Alpha-CHARACTERSETS”

… and below Mr. R in various moods

Letter “A”

Letter “E”

Letter “M”

  • AlphaPets! Love it!!
  • i think "AlphaPETS" is a fabulous name!i love it!by the way,i think your letter R is so creative;)
  • funny as hell!!!!!! great!!!
  • I love your style so much...yo´re great!!!
  • really nice staff, nice ideas.
  • Very cool Sir. Fun Fun Fun. It could be cool to have each main letter be the first letter of the word like, D is for dog. Then have O - G shape in the drawing as well. That way the kids can not only draw but spell out the words. It looks like it was going in that direction with mouse. Also if you add a sentence like: D is dog who's down in the dumps: to each illustration you've got just about every angle covered.

Cant wait to see the end results.

Remember those cool books where you made drawings out of finger prints?

This is a fun and great idea. It keeps the mind going, looking forward to seeing more.
  • wa-ha-ha!!! what a fun idea! i love the drawings you've done so far, too, Mr. Blue! kooky AND fun - what a great combo ;) can't wait to see more.
  • What a great idea for a book! I love the idea of playing off the word alphabets for the title. I love Alpha-Pets, but since they're not all animals (judging from your sample) it doesn't altogether work/make sense to me. Aplha-CharacterSets is more descriptive but might go over the indended audiences' head -- plus it just feels like a mouthful to say (lots of syllables). Why box yourself into making your title rhyme with "-bets"? I don't think you have to. "Alpha-" matched with something descriptive, catchy, plus showing the visual concept would be just perfecto!!!! Great stuff -- I would love to see the progress and hear what you decide to go with for the title. :)
    Best of luck!!
